Amalia , record personnel!

En Pennsylvanie, Amalia VOGLER vient de battre son record personnel en salle sur le 800m  en terminant seconde de sa série en 2'13"15. Cela est un réel grand chrono et prouve que les champions "ne meurent jamais".  C'est aussi, à ce jour, la meilleure performance française de l'année en salle.
Souvent en difficulté avec des entraînements non adaptés et axés vers le 1500m , je lui avais laissé entendre il y a peu qu'elle devrait tout de même faire moins de 2'15" compte tenu de "la masse" d'entraînements faits. C'est chose faite et bon pour le moral. Bravo et félicitations. On est vraiment contents pour elle. Sa journée s'est terminée par un 4 x 400m couru en 59" environ.

11 Outdoor: Finished fifth in the 800-meter (2:14.01) … ran a time of 2:13.56 in the 800-meter at the Pepsi Florida Relays … also registered a 57.55 in the 400-meter at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge … earned A-Sun all-academic honors and was named to the President’s Honor Roll.
11 Indoor: Helped the Dolphins win the 4x400-meter relay at the A-Sun Championships with a school record time of 3:45.14 … also finished second in the Distance Medley Relay (11:52.94) and fourth in the 800-meter (2:17.44) … ran a time of 2:19.58 in the 800-meter at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
10 XC: Tallied a time of 19:30.84 at the A-Sun Championships … placed 14th at the A-Sun Championships with a time of 19:36.53 … ran a time of 13:22.10 to finish seventh in the JU Short Course Duals.

10 Outdoor: Helped the Dolphins win the 4x400-meter relay at the A-Sun Championships with a time of 3:46.96 … also finished second at the conference meet in the 800-meter with a time of 2:13.89 … ran a portion of the Distance Medley Relay that broke the school record with a time of 12:02.26 (7th) at the Pepsi Florida Relays … also ran a 2:14.09 at the Tom Jones Invitational.
10 Indoor: Ran a leg of the Distance Medley Relay that finished first at the conference meet with a time of 12:14.57 … also placed fifth in the 800-meter with a time of 2:18.00 … ran a season-best time of 2:17.75 (8th) in the 800-meter at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.
09 XC: Finished second at the JU Short Course Duals with a time of 12:59.15 … ran a time of 19:13.79 to place 13th at the FLRunners.com Invitational … closed the year with a time of 19:34 at the A-Sun Championships.
09 Outdoor: Ran a season-best time of 2:14.14 to place first in the 800-meter at the UNF Osprey Challenge … placed second in the 800-meter with a time of 2:15.50 at the A-Sun Championships … also won the 800-meter (2:17.86) at the JU-UNF Duals … helped the Dolphins to a pair of fifth places finishes in the 4x400-meter relay at the UNF Osprey Challenge (4:01.35) and the Seminole Invitational (4:06.59).
09 Indoor: Broke the school record in the 800-meter with a time of 2:13.75 to take third at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic … won the 800-meter at the A-Sun Championships with a time of 2:17.21 … also helped the Dolphins take first at the conference meet in the distance medley with a school and A-Sun indoor record time of 12:03.72.

Le retour au calme

Pendant ce temps, dans un froid polaire ( - 9°) et sans nos malades, (dont Amélie! comme tous les ans)  nous avons fait une séance de côtes avec quelques photos...
